Our friends at Sustainable NE Seattle are hosting a Hands On Community Skill Fair in partnership with the Ravenna Eckstein and Meadowbrook Community Centers. The fair is open to anyone who wants to broaden their skills and learn make things with their very own hands again!
In an overwhelming show of support, 40 people from the community will be sharing fun and practical skills on such things as food preservation, seed starting, soap making, fruit tree grafting, knitting, tool repair, and singing. Following the skills fair, there will be a community potluck and square dance at Meadowbrook Community Center. Here’s more details of the Hands On Skills Fair for more information.
Sustainable NE Seattle is always looking for more instructors to round out the event and volunteers to help out. Information on how to volunteer your skills or help out can be found on the Hand On Community Skills Fair website or email » Joann Kerr.
