UPDATE: The City’s Comprehensive Plan Update Survey will close on October 31st. You can read through those responses they’ve already received HERE.
The City of Seattle has begun the long process of updating the City’s Comprehensive Plan, last updated in 2004. The comprehensive plan is not only a requirement of the State’s Growth Management Act, but it helps shape the future of the City by establishing goals for growth used by policy makers.
As part of this process, the City has laid out a public engagement process to listen and learn from the community as a whole. This is the first process of updating the plan. One way the City is doing this is through a brief survey. Take a few moments and share your priorities for the City and what you’d like the City to look like 20 years from now.
