The museum's farewell to Montlake

The Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) is saying “farewell to Montlake” on Thursday, June 7th.  The museum’s final-day celebration at the present location in the Montlake neighborhood will be from 10 AM to 8 PM.   Admission will be free, and there will be gallery tours and special events all day long.

It is anticipated that MOHAI will be able to re-open in the renovated Naval Reserve Building in Lake Union Park just before the end of 2012.  In the meantime, during the summer MOHAI will have special exhibits at Seattle Center.   For more info on the museum’s move to South Lake Union see:    http://www.historyismoving.org/
