Holiday Lights at Lake Union Park

The Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) will re-open at the end of December in its new location adjacent to Lake Union Park, 860 Terry Ave N.  In the meantime, MOHAI continues its tradition of launching the annual season of holiday lights aboard ships.  On Saturday, November 24, from 1 to 8 PM you are invited to spend the afternoon at Lake Union Park.  You can make holiday crafts, build toy boats, decorate cookies, sip hot cocoa, and get to know Lake Union Park and its adjacent Historic Ships Wharf.  Daytime music performances will feature a combination of maritime and holiday tunes.  The Center for Wooden Boats will open at 10 AM and will have Tugboat Story Time aboard the Arthur Foss tugboat with Pirate Lou at 2 PM and 4 PM.   Here is a full schedule of the day’s events and activities.
