Celebrate the Evergreens

In the season of winter evergreens, the Miller Library will have story time for children, ages 3 to 8, and families on the topic of trees, Saturday, December 15, from 10:30 to 11:15. After story time children can color a tree picture or use salt dough to sculpt a tree.  The Miller Library is part of the UW Botanical Gardens resources and is located at 3501 NE 41st Street in Laurelhurst.

While you are at the Miller Library you can do your holiday shopping!  The Library is conducting a holiday art, craft, and gift sale continuously through December 21.  Products from local artists and artisans include cards and calendars, hats, wrist warmers and gloves, scarves and wraps, ceramic mugs, bowls and vases.  Please bring cash or check only; 25% of proceeds benefit the Miller Library.
