Work Party for New Year's Eve

The Friends of the Burke-Gilman Trail at Sand Point is a group dedicated to the restoration and preservation of Seattle’s longest trail and skinniest park.  The group plans to start the New Year right with a work party on Monday, December 31 from 8:30 AM to 12:30. The work party will meet at the corner of 39th Ave NE and NE 48th Street and will remove invasive species, including ivy and blackberries from a section of the trail.  Friends of the Burke-Gilman Trail at Sand Point has been reintroducing native plants and species along weeded sections of the trail and you can register to join in on the December 31 work party here.
