It’s school enrollment season and the Jane Addams K-8 School invites you to visit during morning or evening tours this week. Jane Addams offers grades kindergarten through eighth grade in one building, which gives students continuity across school years in a supportive community. There is an environmental science focus, specialists in reading and math, sports teams and an after-school program.
Jane Addams K-8 is at 11051 34th Ave NE, across NE 110th Street from Nathan Hale High School. Tours for those interested in all grades, K-8, can come for a morning tour, 9:30 to 11:30 AM on Wednesday, February 27. For those interested only in the middle school grades of 6th, 7th, and 8th, there is an evening tour on Thursday, February 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. You may also contact the principal to set up a “shadow day” for your student to visit classes in session.
