Ride for Ryther: Seattle to Portland

You may have seen the Ryther sign as you drive by on NE 95th Street. “Ryther” – what is it?

Ryther, whose main campus is at 2400 NE 95th Street in Wedgwood, is a nationally-known leader in behavioral health services for children and families.   Ryther offers residential and outpatient solutions for children who have challenges stemming from trauma, mental illness, substance abuse, Autism Spectrum Disorders or adjustment issues with school, peers or parents.

Ryther staff Siri, Clay, John, Joshua, Paul, Kristian and supporter Melissa are training hard to raise $10,000 on their Ride for Ryther in the Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic on July 13-14, 2013. That’s 202 miles! You can support the Ryther team by donating to Ride for Ryther via electronic, phone or mail options.  Don’t forget matching workplace gifts: these make a big difference. Your donations to Ride for Ryther will help nurture healthy children and strong families.

On Wednesday evening, July 3, there will be a Songs for Ryther Benefit Concert featuring Mary Lambert, Hollis and DJ Beeba, at The Crocodile Back Bar, 2200 2nd Avenue, from 6 to 10 PM.  Entry is $10 and there will be a raffle and prizes.  Proceeds will benefit “Ride for Ryther” in the Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic, to raise funds and awareness for Ryther’s programs servicing vulnerable children and families.
