At night the Washington Park Arboretum is a very quiet, very dark place. Take a night hike with the environmental education leaders to learn about the forest and the night adaptations of animals. This activity is geared to families with children ages 6 to 12.
Cost of the hike is $8 per person and you can register on-line at UW Botanic Gardens.
As it gets dark earlier in August through October, the walk start-times will get earlier, as well. Here is the schedule, and be aware of traffic info: On this Saturday, August 31 there will be a Husky football game, which will affect passage through the Montlake area.
August 31st 7:30 – 9:00pm
September 14th 7:00 – 8:30pm
September 28th 6:30 – 8:00pm
