Sunday, November 10th, 3-4:30PM

Speaker: Carolyn Smith, Washington State Insurance Commission

The health insurance exchange is one of the key pieces of the much talked about Affordable Health Care Act.  On October 1st, the Washington Health Benefit Exchange officially opens for enrollment.  You or your loved ones may have questions about the implementation of the health exchange.  Well, if so, the Wedgwood Community Church has planned a two-part informational series with Carolyn Smith from the Washington State Insurance Commission.

Each meeting will generally include 45 minutes of presentation with 45 mins of Q&A to follow.
September 29th, will focus on the newly rolled out Health Insurance Exchange: who are the winners and losers, and how to find a plan that maximizes benefits to those eligible.
November 10, will evaluate the first month of the Health Insurance Exchange, then concentrate on the impact of ACA on seniors, Medicare and access current and future benefits.

Refreshments and conversation follow each presentation downstairs.
