Trick or treaters enter the Wedgwood Barber Shop
The Wedgwood business districts at NE 75th and NE 85th Streets will be open for trick-or-treat on Thursday, October 31, from 4 to 6 PM. Look for the orange flyer in the window of participating businesses, and look for the Wedgwood Community Council volunteers who will serve as crosswalk guards.
For this fun, traditional event in Wedgwood, parents are advised to keep alert: don’t walk across the street while texting or talking on a cell phone! Crosswalk volunteers will be at the intersections of NE 75th and NE 85th Streets but parents should also model safety practices and teach children to look and listen before crossing the street.
Meet the Wedgwood volunteers and learn about community council activities at upcoming Info Table Days. A Wedgwood Community Council Membership Info Table will be at QFC, 8400 35th Ave NE, on Thursday, October 24th from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. On Saturday, October 26 from 9 to noon there will be an Info Table at Javasti, 8617 35th Ave NE. Come out and meet the current community council officers and and thank them for their work in Wedgwood.
