Seattle Jewish Community School Open House! Sunday, November 10th

Seattle Jewish Community School
Open House Event
Sunday, November 10th, 2PM

The Seattle Jewish Community School has been providing an integrated K-5 curriculum to students from all across the Jewish faith spectrum for over 20 years, including many kids who worship at Temple Beth Am and Congregation Beth Shalom near Wedgwood.  It’s location just off NE 125th Street makes SJCS a convenient location for Wedgwood-area families interested in an integrated education that celebrates and honors the Jewish tradition.

The typical school day kicks off with class at 8:30AM.  General studies (math, reading, writing, social studies, science, and collaborative group work) are generally at the start of each day.  Classes rotate through a variety of specialist studies throughout the week, such as art, dance, music, physical education, and library time, to augment and broaden the school day.  And of course recess!

To learn more about the SJCS, they’re hosting their annual Open House on November 10th at 2PM to give perspective parents the opportunity to learn about the school and see if it might be the right fit for your children.  At the sessions, teachers and administrators will be discussing SJCS’s approach to education, their curriculum, and community-based approach to Jewish learning. Complimentary childcare is available with advance RSVP.  Please RSVP to Jessica Graybill, Director of Admissions at admissions@sjcs.net or by calling 206-522-5212 EXT 300.

Oh, and you can find them on Facebook too!
