Seattle Police Department Living Room Conversations

Living Room Conversations are designed to bring together community members and police officers from the local precinct in a social and casual “living room” setting to just talk and meet each other.  This is a great opportunity for you and police officers to get to know one another and talk about your concerns.

The Seattle Police Department Community Outreach Section is seeking community and business members who are interested in hosting a Living Room Conversation.  Living Room Conversations are generally held in a residence with neighbors who have been invited by the host, and there should be from ten to twenty attendees.  A Living Room Conversation can also be held in a business or a community facility, but always privately hosted with local people who come by invitation.

For information on holding a Living Room Conversation in northeast Seattle, contact Detective James A. Manning, Community Outreach Section, at james.manning@seattle.gov or at 206-423-9952.
