The Hunter Tree Farm at 7744 35th Ave NE in Wedgwood is open for the season of holiday decorations! Available are evergreen Christmas trees of many different types and sizes, swags (to pin flat on a door or above the fireplace), wreaths of evergreen branches, pine cones and many other fun and fragrant decorations. Hunter’s invites everyone to stop by, enjoy the trees of the season, get in the holiday spirit and get ready to decorate.
In December be on the lookout for trees which will sprout in Wedgwood businesses with tags for charitable donations. The Meadowbrook Community Care organization (abbreviated MC2) will soon place giving-trees in Wedgwood businesses. Wedgwoodians can take a MC2 tag and purchase a gift for children and families in the outreach through community centers and to benefit children at Ryther who are in treatment or foster care. The MC2 giving-trees will be in Washington Federal, Homestreet, Wedgwood Hair Studio, Cafe Van Gogh, the Wedgwood Ale House, Rite-Aid, and Cafe Javasti.
