Seattle Tilth Edible Plant Sale

Eat from your home garden and teach children where food comes from!  The Seattle Tilth Edible Plant Sale is the place to get “starts” for successful planting.  The sale will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 3 and 4 from 9 AM to 3 PM each day, at Meridian Park, 4649 Sunnyside Ave N. behind the Good Shepherd Center.  Most veggies are $3, herbs and flowers $4.

In addition to the sale itself, there will be garden presentations, music and vendors.  The busiest hours of the sale are expected to be 9 to noon, and if the maximum allowable number of people are in the plant sale area, it may be necessary for sale visitors to wait for entry in the lower-field activity area.

Pick-up a Wristband in the Morning

A staggered entry system allows the maximum number of people to enjoy the sale and keep the entrance flowing smoothly during the busiest times (usually Saturday 9 to noon and Sunday 9-10 AM). Enjoy vendors and activities in the lower field while you wait to enter the sale! Or come after noon on Saturday, and after 10 AM on Sunday.

Garden Presentations, Music & Vendors in the Lower Field

Find delicious food, vendors and activities on the lower field outside the main sale. Pick-up fruit shrubs and trees and Gardens to Go.

Here’s the list of the lower field presentations and vendors.
