The Lake City Farmers Market is now open for the season. The Market will be open every Thursday from 3 to 7 PM until October (barring emergencies such as severe summer storm conditions.)
The Market’s convenient location is next-door to the Lake City Branch Library at NE 125th Street on 28th Ave NE. There is plenty of parking on surrounding streets. Watch the events page for notice of live music, special presentations and activities for kids. The park next to the Market has a playground and a grassy picnic area.
Traffic reminder: northbound 35th Ave NE is CLOSED at Meadowbrook for the summer of 2014. To get to the Farmers Market, travel on Lake City Way to NE 123rd Street (at Dick’s Drive-In), turn left onto 30th Ave NE and left again on NE 125th Street.
