Practice reading with a new friend who is warm, furry, and a perfect listener. On Mondays in July at 6:30 PM, certified therapy dogs and their handlers will join young readers to read one-on-one in the Northgate Branch Library. Reading sessions are one hour and will be held on each Monday evening through the end of July.
Traffic advisory: because of the closure of 35th Ave NE at Meadowbrook during the summer of 2014, it is suggested that you travel west on NE 75th Street to get to Northgate. West of Roosevelt Way NE, NE 75th Street curves and becomes Banner Way NE. At the flashing stoplight, angle to the right onto Fifth Ave NE. The Northgate Branch Library is at 10548 Fifth Ave NE across from the Macy’s side of the Northgate Mall.
