Seattle Ronald McDonald House
On Saturday, July 26 beginning at 9 AM there will be a Sidewalk Sale at the Seattle Ronald McDonald House at 5130 40th Ave NE, just south of Metropolitan Market. Items for sale are kids gear, kitchen items, books, shoes and more, nearly all priced at $2 each, with all proceeds benefiting the Seattle Ronald McDonald House. The House supports seriously ill children and their families by providing a home-away-from-home when in Seattle for medical treatment.
If you would like to learn more about the Ronald McDonald House, the next monthly House tour is scheduled for Wednesday, August 6. Come see the facility and learn about the work. If interested in attending, please arrive between 8:30 to 8:45 AM. There is no need to sign-up in advance. In consideration of the children’s compromised immunity, you must be at least 13 years old and healthy (no colds please). Teens age 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult.
