Music Lecture at the Library

On Tuesday evening, June 23, 6:30 to 7:30 PM at the Northeast Branch Library there will be a preview lecture on the music of Beethoven to be featured in the upcoming Summer Festival of the Seattle Chamber Music Society.

Beethoven is often called the most important composer of classical music.  The presentation will use his symphonies as a guidepost to investigate his early, middle, and late periods, showing how his musical values evolved in his lifetime.

The presentation at the library will examine the history and musical impact of Beethoven through recorded musical examples and informal presentation by Seattle Chamber Music Society staff members Jeremy Jolley, Director of Education Programs, and Seneca Garber, Director of Marketing.
