The Northgate Pedestrian Bridge

The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) plans to build a new pedestrian and bicycle bridge over I-5 to improve connections within the Northgate Community.  The bridge will extend across NE 100th Street, touching the corners of the Northgate Mall and the Transit Center on one side, and over the freeway to the campus of North Seattle Community College.  A new Sound Transit Light Rail Station will be part of the complex at the site adjacent to the Northgate Mall.  An Open House/info session will be held on Thursday evening, October 15th.

The project team will host an open house to provide information on the selected bridge type and alignment, connections to other transportation improvements and 30% design plans. This is a great opportunity to learn more and get your questions answered!
