This week in Wedgwood the community council will be hosting another food truck planning meeting on Wednesday evening, May 18th, and a meet-and-greet time on Saturday morning, May 21st from 9 to 11 AM.

Wedgwood Community Council volunteers at a recent planning session
What’s going on in the neighborhood? Wedgwood Community Council volunteers have begun meeting to organize a food truck event tentatively for September 17, and for trying to get a new food truck for weekends at the corner of NE 86th Street. This future-park site which we call the Picnic Place, will be the meeting place for a planning session on Wednesday evening, May 18th at 7:15 PM. In case of bad weather we will move to the Wedgwood Ale House/Pool Room.
Everyone is invited to come by and say hello on Saturday morning, May 21st between 9 to 11 AM at the Picnic Place to meet Wedgwood Community Council volunteers and hear about neighborhood initiatives. We are working on traffic and street improvement projects, parks and also fun stuff like food trucks.
