The Wedgwood Community Picnic on Saturday, September 17th, will include a magician show and face painting for kids. Everyone is invited out for this community gathering from 4 to 8 PM at the Hunter Tree Farm, 7744 35th Ave NE next to the post office.
The Wedgwood Community Picnic is an all-neighborhood event for Wedgwoodians to come out and have fun. The costs of the childrens’ activities have been underwritten by the community council so that the magic show and face painting is free for children.
Lelando the Impossible will be our magician for the evening’s kids program, and face painting for kids will be done by Lynn Brevig of Wild Smiles.
Stay tuned for more details of the Wedgwood Community Picnic! At the Picnic you will be able to join or renew your membership in the Wedgwood Community Council, our neighborhood advocacy organization, and ask questions about current initiatives such as street & sidewalk funding applications. A new or renewed WCC membership will come with a free t-shirt in this year’s new design. See the membership info and t-shirt photo here.
