Ride your bike to the Wedgwood Community Picnic on Saturday, September 17th, 4 to 8 PM at the Hunter Tree Farm and you can get a free safety check and basic repairs of your bike. Kids are especially encouraged to ride in to the event.
Come to the Wedgwood Community Picnic and meet James of Mend Bicycles. James calls himself the luckiest bike shop owner in the world because he fell into the cycling world entirely by accident. In the last few years, James has been working on site at Seattle Children’s Hospital providing service and support for the employee cycling community. James has worked closely with the transportation team at Children’s to bring a full bikeshop experience to the hospital campus.
James is constantly looking for ways to help as many cyclist as possible. That’s why James will be at the Wedgwood Community Picnic with his tool kit to offer safety checks, simple repairs and tips on bike maintenance. It’s a free service at the Picnic, see you there!
