June is Your Voice, Your Choice Vote Month

People who live, work, worship, attend school, or connect in some way with one of the Seattle city council districts have an opportunity to vote for on their top three Your Voice, Your Choice district projects between June 3-30.

Back in March, community volunteers from each council district reviewed almost 900 projects submitted by community members from all over the city. They turned the submitted project ideas into 8-10 proposals per district for the Your Voice, Your Choice ballot.

Now the ballot is set, and all community members will be able to vote for projects within their district starting on June 3. Here are the projects you can expect to see on the ballot. Just one of the projects falls within Wedgwood’s boundaries, which is crossing improvements on 35th Ave NE at NE 80th Street.

Paper ballots and online voting will be available. To vote, learn about the projects on the ballot, or get paper ballots to share with your networks, please visit: www.seattle.gov/yvyc.
