Seattle Parks & Recreation’s 2017 Parks and Open Space Plan

In July, Seattle Parks & Recreation published its 2017 Parks and Open Space Plan. Highlights of Planned Capital Projects in the plan included development of 14 new parks at land-banked sites, which includes Wedgwood’s future park at the corner of 35th Ave NE & NE 86th Street.

The $8.1M budget for those 14 new parks runs from 2018 through 2020.

The Plan will be presented to City Council’s Parks Committee on September 7, and to the full City Council for a vote on September 11.
