I do not do zoom or whatever it is.
Here is what I want to address with the committee. Bus route 79 only runs on weekdays. In the evening hours, the last bus from Roosevelt is at 9:30. Route 79 is not a full-service bus and it should be. There are events that take place on the weekends. Sports, farmers’ markets, concerts, etc. Evening events usually get out after 10:00 P.M. Coming home on the light rail to Roosevelt Station there would be no bus service. My property taxes help pay for transit but we do not get full service. Metro is a service, not a for-profit company.
