It’s summertime in Seattle and the event-planning committee of the Wedgwood Community Council is heating up plans for the Wedgwood Community Picnic on September 17th.
Is the Wedgwood Community Council going to dissolve?
On July 18, 2016 the Appellate (appeals) Court ruled that the Schulte family can potentially pursue a lawsuit about death and injuries on NE 75th Street in Wedgwood.
The Wedgwood Community Council has chosen to present a new event this year, a Community Picnic on Saturday, September 17th, rather than the Outdoor Cinema which has been held in past summers.
The monthly coordination and planning meeting of the Wedgwood Community Council will be held on Monday, July 18th at 7:30 PM.
The regularly-scheduled planning session of the Wedgwood Community Council will be held on Monday, June 20th at 7:30 PM.
The Food and Fun Group of the Wedgwood Community Council will continue with planning efforts at a meeting on Wednesday, June 1st, 7:15 PM at Hunter Tree Farm, 7744 35th Ave NE.
There will be a burst of activities around Wedgwood in the month of June 2016, with something for everyone, including a food truck for Wedgwood.
We got soaking wet at Saturday’s WCC meet-and-greet in the rain, but we had fun anyway.
