Neighborhood Matching Fund for Back-to-School Projects
Does your group of neighbors with kids, your PTA or youth group want to organize an activity or event to celebrate the fall back-to-school season? If so, it may qualify for support from Seattle’s Department of Neighborhoods Small Sparks fund. This fund provides matching dollars of up to $1000 for neighborhood-initiated projects that promote community engagement. Project ideas might include Walking School Bus outreach, a back-to-school barbecue and block party, youth-organizing, an autumn festival, PTA recruitment…and more! Please call 206-733-9916 or visit the webpage of the Small Sparks Fund for more information.
