Officer Cleared in Shooting at Wedgwood's QFC

According to the Seattle Times, the officer involved in the fatal shooting at Wedgwood’s QFC last August was cleared.  Six King County inquest jurors determined that Ariel Rosenfeld, who Seattle Police were attempting to arrest, had fled and that officers repeatedly ordered him to stop and that Rosenfeld fought to avoid arrest.  The six jurors also unanimously agreed that Mr. Rosenfeld was armed and that Officer Anderson yelled “drop the gun” before he fired.
