The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) has announced that construction of the NE 95th St Sidewalk Project is now complete.
We have begun pouring concrete on NE 83rd St. Crews will be working to build new sidewalk and driveways along the length of NE 83rd St, beginning at the east end of the street and will work west down the hill towards Ravenna Ave NE. We expect this work to take as long as three days. After crews finish sidewalk and driveway work on NE 83rd, they will begin curb and gutter work on Ravenna Ave NE, as soon as March 28.
Your Voice, Your Choice: Parks & Streets is a new Seattle program that lets residents decide how to spend $2,000,000 of the City budget on small-scale improvements to streets and parks.
Weather permitting, driveway and sidewalk construction will begin as soon as tomorrow, March 9. Crews have been pouring curb and gutter on NE 83rd St and 28th Ave NE and will transition to pouring concrete for driveways and sidewalk. This work is very weather-dependent, so may be rescheduled if necessary, and appreciate your patience.
Construction is moving slower than anticipated on the NE 95th St Sidewalk Project, due in part to a few weather delays. The latest project update from the Seattle Department of Transportation notes that work should wrap up in late March or early April, while an on-site project sign says that work will be complete in May.
