22Mar 4, 2010 7:38 AMI haven't lived here long enough to be part of those. I used to live in Ravenna, so I'm still familiar with Wedgwood. I still tend to participate in block parties but with my parents and siblings in Ravenna. But this year I would like to do it here too.

25Mar 4, 2010 8:59 PMPrimarily activities related to church and school. To be honest, the Outdoor Cinema is great, but it is so "big" that I don't feel a sense of connection to my neighbors when I go there...

27Mar 5, 2010 4:16 AMPlease hold meetings at different times of the year. Block watch is always in August and many are away. Perhaps we could have functions that promote community like ordering compost in bulk or neighborhood clean up/beautification projects.

72Mar 17, 2010 9:14 AMI'm agoraphobic for the most part. Don't participate in any outside-of-the-house "organized" activities. If I happen to be walking by a group of people or children, I do love to interact with them and talk to them. But just because I have my own issues to deal with doesn't mean I don't wish the best for the rest of the community.

77Mar 21, 2010 11:52 PMA few years back there were a couple of great things we participated in - one was free trees for parking strips and pruning class & the other was an emergency planning group that assigned tasks to each household in case of a major catastrophe with training. Also, there was a neighborhood "garage sale" too, that was great.
