22Mar 5, 2010 8:11 AMyou can't tell people with private property not to cut down their trees; as much as we may value them, let's recognize that we are not paying their property mortgage and so it is utterly condesending to tell a private home owner not to cut their trees if that is what they want to do to gain more space or sunlight or avoid maintenance. the survey is not designed well to capture this: I think it is very important NOT to mess with private property rights... yet I answered the question as not important so as to not mislead the survey compiler.

Does rules for trees include the ability to cut down trees which are too large for the space? I have planted 8 trees on my lot and have cut down 3 in an attempt to have beauty and sunlight.
