Mar 3, 2010 4:48 PMthe homes are smaller, not gargantuan
Mar 3, 2010 5:35 PMI can't easily walk to businesses. I wish I could
Mar 3, 2010 6:16 PMI love Wedgwood!

Mar 5, 2010 1:27 AMwe need sidewalks because it's great for walking/running but sidewalks would help
Mar 5, 2010 8:19 AMhaving a robust 'urban village' with "essentials" such as a hardware store, a grocery store, a coffee shop, child care, a drug store, etc. makes the neighbourhood self contained and thus very liveable -- these services are augemented by the natural tree canopy within the neighbourhood to give a sense of quiet and peace.
Mar 5, 2010 3:58 PMcar parking on the street is messy.
Mar 5, 2010 3:58 PMi want to feel safer walking in the neighborhoods - having sidewalks and traffic calming measures would help. Too many people speed on our side streets.
Mar 5, 2010 8:43 PMIt doesn't feel artificial, like some newer neighborhoods feel.
Mar 6, 2010 3:49 AMI feel as if my neighbors and I generally have the same values - this is critical.
Mar 6, 2010 10:00 PMCleanliness. While all of these may be important positives, I don't necessarily think they apply to all of the single-family residential zones in Wedgwood.
Mar 7, 2010 4:58 AMconvenient to other areas, freeways/downtown etc
Mar 7, 2010 8:30 PMMultigenerational families, people have a long term jinterest in the community.
Mar 8, 2010 3:47 AMThe lack of sidewalks is dangerous even if street crime is low.

Mar 11, 2010 2:22 AMsidewalks and walkability are key. need focus on neighborhood commerical within walkable ranges of housing

Mar 17, 2010 7:09 AMWe almost crave our privacy, however, we know enough about our immediate neighbors that we and they trust if one of us is gone, without having to ask, all neighbors keep an eye on each other's property.

Mar 30, 2010 7:20 PMthere are not enough sidewalks so walking in not always safe!
Mar 30, 2010 11:28 PMTell people to slow down their driving (except for me :))
Mar 31, 2010 5:56 PMBiking here is generally safe.
Apr 4, 2010 11:16 PMYou people want me to buy a permit to cut my grass so that you can tax me to make room for another do-nothing, overpaid, union worker.
Apr 5, 2010 3:25 AMbus stop safety - I'm talking Ravenna at 92nd. Also some speed bumps like those recently installed on 25th between 85th and 90th could ease speeding on 92nd, the only through street between 35th and LCW that does not have a stoplight.
Apr 5, 2010 4:57 PMI think that the sidewalks really need to be addressed or should I say the lack of them you can't run safly due to the roots and cracks where there are side walks is pretty bad compaired to other area around
