Also reported by a Wedgwood resident:
Our car was stolen from the Meadowbrook pool after someone had rifled through a swimbag and took the car keys. The car was immediately driven to Everett, completely searched and documents with our names and address were removed. I imagine these documents were taken to attempt identity theft. We immediately changed the house keys, put a fraud alert on our credit cards and ran a free credit check (available via the web). The Everett police recovered the vehicle about 5 days after the theft. There was no significant damage but we lost an enormous amount of time sorting this out. My lesson from this is that even a well-trafficed public space such as the pool is still vulnerable to thieves - and thieves are very resourceful!
