Census Tract 21: NE 85th to NE 100th / 35th NE to Lake City Way
- 7/07/09
9400 block 25th NE
Reported at 4:45PM -- The resident was away from the house for most of the day. When she returned, she discovered that someone had entered by breaking out the glass in the back door and then reaching inside to unlock the dead bolt. A laptop, purse, jewelry and papers were among the items stolen. The officer noted that the house was situated at the rear of the lot and was concealed from view by trees and shrubs.

3200 block NE 94th
Reported at 9:17PM -- The victim was away from the house for several hours during the day. When she returned, she noticed that a garbage can had been moved and a window screen pulled away from its frame. No entry was made.

3000 block NE 95th
Reported at 9:15PM -- The victim states he never locks his door. He was away for a day and when he returned, he found a pair of black sunglasses in his bedroom that did not belong to him. No property was taken.

2300 block NE 92nd
Reported at 10:46PM -- The resident was gone from the house all day and evening. When she returned, she noticed the screen door ajar. She checked and found a side window had been broken out and a laptop and other items stolen.

7500 block 36th NE
Reported at 12:02AM -- The resident was awakened to the sound of his dog barking. When he looked out in the yard, he saw a male he described as white, over 6' tall, with blond hair. The male walked through the yard and entered his detached garage. The resident called 911 and officers apprehended the suspect. He had stolen alcohol and other small items.

2500 block NE 82nd
Reported at 4:30PM -- The residents were gone for a few hours. When they returned, they noticed their front door jamb had been damaged but no entry was made. They checked and found that a rear window that had been left open was entered and a laptop, digital camera and cash had been stolen.
