Local teenagers vandalize 18 cars
2am on Wednesday morning, Sept. 27th, five local teenagers (four boys
and one girl, 15 to 16 years of age), vandalized 18 cars in NE
Wedgwood (between 35 Ave NE and Sand Point Way and NE 90th Ave and NE
110th) and were caught and arrested the same day. The Seattle police
deparment has contacted all 18 families whose cars were vandalized and
is collecting receipts from each victim for reimbursement and
retribution from the teenagers.
One of our neighbors at the block near 85th and 27th NE had a break-in last night into one of their cars. One of the car windows was broken -- two briefcases and a computer were stolen. The incident was reported to police but did not respond.
