Senator Scott White to Speak at Wedgwood’s May 11th Meeting

Mark your calendars for 7PM on May 11th, when the WCC hosts a special public meeting at Wedgwood Presbyterian Church.  What’s so special about this particular meeting?  Well, three four important things:

1.  We will bid adieu and thank you to our President, Kurt Westman, who has served 6 years with the WCC, along with other extraordinary trustees.

2.  We will be holding our annual elections for new and returning trustees, including Patti Wilma, Katie Traverse, and Brian Turnbull.  In the coming weeks, we’ll have features on each of these trustee candidates, so stay tuned!

3.  Last but certainly not least, we have the pleasure of welcoming Washington State Senator and Wedgwood resident, Scott White.  He will give us a first hand account of some of what has been going on in Olympia recently.

4. UPDATE: We’ll be updating the community on an exciting grant that the WCC and Hunter Family just received to build a community gathering place on their Christmas tree lot in the heart of Wedgwood.
