As we’ve previously shared, the 28th Annual Night Out Against Crime is Tuesday night, August 7th. Many blocks are organizing potlucks, bbq’s, or informal gatherings to reconnect, share contact information, and enjoy each other. If you have a Night Out Event going on, the City has a tool for you to add it to their map to help spread the word!
Top Pot Doughnuts is hosting their own “Night Out Against Crime” Event tomorrow from 6-8PM at their “Wedgwood Cafe” at 6855 35th Ave NE. Not only will there be $1 mini-doughnuts and $1 kids cones (did you know they have super amazing ice cream now too!), but Casper Babypants will be playing at 6:30PM. Casper Babypants is like the Justin Beiber of the 3-5 year old crowd and the lyrical genius behind such songs as Stompy the Bear (see video below)!
So, bring your kids, grab a $1 mini-doughnut or kids cone, listen to some excellent tunes, and enjoy the Night Out Against Crime!
