From Tuesday, November 20, through Sunday, December 9, families can participate in a fun scavenger hunt at the Washington Park Arboretum to learn about plants and trees which have fruit and nuts at this time of year. Keep an eye out for birds which are attracted to the colorful fruit. You can print a clue sheet from the Scavenger Hunt page or pick one up at the Graham Visitor Center, 2300 Arboretum Drive E., and come explore some fall highlights.
The Scavenger Hunt is designed for families but anyone can do it. There are white-painted pine cones along the way to mark the sites, and there are written directions on the clue sheet.
