Visit a Museum

A week of rainy weather can be a good time for an indoor activity such as a visit to a museum.  If you have a Seattle Public Library card then you can reserve and print out an admission pass to participating Seattle museums at no charge.  You can reserve a Museum Pass either by venue or by date:  go to this link, have your library card and PIN handy, and print or email your pass.  Present the printed pass to the museum on your chosen date.

Most Seattle-area museums will reopen this week beginning on Wednesday, December 26.  Some of the participating Museum Pass sites are the Burke Museum on the UW campus; the Experience Music Project at Seattle Center; the Nordic Heritage Museum in Sunset Heights/Ballard; and Wing Luke Museum in the International District.  See the complete list on the Museum Pass reservation site.  Be sure to check the websites of museums for days/opening times.
