Crowds of family and friends will cheer on the Obliteride Riders on the weekend of August 10 and 11, 2013.
The weekend of August 10 and 11 will be very busy at Magnuson Park and along Sand Point Way NE with a major charity fundraiser event, the Obliteride. This bicycle fundraising event, the Ride to Obliterate Cancer, will be staged at Magnuson Park on both Saturday and Sunday with 1000+ participants and an unknown number of spectators. Congestion is likely at Magnuson, and watch for heavy traffic in Wedgwood as well. The designated detour route for cars off of Sand Point Way NE is on 35th Ave NE through Wedgwood.
Volunteers are still needed for the Obliteride event and you can even register as a Virtual Rider (no bike needed!) to donate to cancer research.
