Using the bounty of fall’s harvest, you can concoct an assortment of salsas, relishes, pickles and vinegars at Sustainable NE Seattle’s Community Kitchen event. From 6 to 9 PM on Wednesday evening, September 18, we will use the Community Kitchen at Meadowbrook Community Center, 10517 35th Ave NE. Have fun sharing a simple meal with other food enthusiasts and take home a sample jar of each item along with the know-how to make more. Please bring three pint-jars and one half-pint jar; these don’t have to be canning jars. If you have more to share, a few extra jars would be great!
