On Thursday evening, November 14, the Meadowbrook Community Council will hear from our 46th District representative in the state legislature, Jessyn Farrell. Rep. Farrell’s topics for discussion will include: education, health care, and transportation. The meeting will be at the Meadowbrook Community Center at 10517 35th Ave NE, at 7 PM.
Other participants at the meeting will include representatives from Seattle Public Utilities. Deb Heiden of SPU will speak about the status of security issues for Meadowbrook Pond now that construction is completed and it is open; and Jason Sharpley will give an update on the Thornton Creek Confluence project. This meeting promises to be interesting and packed with useful information, and everyone is welcome to attend.
