The NE Seattle Tool Library has been in existence since January 2013 and has expanded with a huge inventory of tools to borrow, classes to take and events to attend. Check the class schedule for the coming week and sign up during the Tool Library’s open hours on Thursday evening, 6 to 8 PM and Saturday 9 to noon. Not only will the Tool Library be open from 2 to 5 PM this Sunday the 16th, it will also be open on those hours on Monday the 17th, Presidents Day. The NE Seattle Tool Library is located at 2415 NE 80th Street.
Upcoming class offerings at the Tool Library are: knife sharpening, Saturday, February 15 from noon to 2 PM, fee $10; electrical troubleshooting, Thursday, February 20, 6 to 8 PM, fee $10. You can sign up at the Tool Library during open hours this Thursday through Monday.
Makers Night: If you are making a project, want to show it off or obtain comments and find other interested Makers, you are invited to bring your project on Tuesday, February 18, from 6 to 8 PM. Projects may include woodworking, electronics, sewing, new inventions, science fair projects, metalworking, arts & crafts, carving, bike building or any other hobby.
