Spring is in the air, and the biggest plant sale of the year is set for Friday, March 7, from 9 AM to 3 PM. The sale is hosted by the Northwest Horticultural Society — see this link for the list of participating plant nurseries. The plant sale site at the Center for Urban Horticulture, UW Botanical Gardens, is easily accessible and has good parking. The plant sale also features a lecture by Dan Hinkley, well-known gardening expert (lecture tickets are $5.) Proceeds of the sale help to benefit the Elisabeth C. Miller Library at CUH.
