Everyone is invited to attend the Thursday, June 26 meeting of the Thornton Creek Alliance, a non-profit organization of volunteers who work with the City for clean water in northeast Seattle’s urban creek system. All TCA meetings are free and open to the public.
The June 26 meeting will begin at 7:15 PM at the Meadowbrook Community Center, 10517 35th Ave NE. Note that the Community Center is accessible only by traveling northbound on 35th Ave NE. Just past NE 105th Street you will see the driveway of the swimming pool and the Community Center.
At NE 107th the road is currently closed due to summer 2014 construction to improve the creek and put in bigger culverts under 35th Ave NE. At the TCA meeting on June 26 this project, called the Meadowbrook Confluence, will be explained and updates given by Jason Sharpley of Seattle Public Utilities.
