The Wedgwood Broiler’s annual car show will be Saturday, August 16, from 10 to 4 in the parking lot at 8230 35th Ave NE adjacent to the QFC shopping plaza.  All net proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.  The Broiler’s event partner is the King Street Bar & Oven.  Contact Troy, 852-8769 or KingStreetBar@msn.com to register a car for $15.  All makes and models are welcome.

The car show is free to spectators.  The Broiler’s full menu will be available all day, and proceeds of any purchased items such as raffle tickets, Broiler menu and drink specials will go to benefit the American Cancer Society.  Everyone is invited to come out and support this cancer fundraising event, and spend a day in the sun with people who love cars.

  1. Hi,

I would like to thank you for helping spread the word about the 7th Annual Wedgwood Car show.

As someone who has been born and raised and continues to live in Wedgwood, I am proud to be a part of something that the neighborhood has been getting behind and enjoying for several years now. I love being stopped on the street or at the store and have neighbors ask me when the car show will be this year as they either have a vehicle to enter or want to bring their kids up to see the show.

I truly appreciate the Wedgwood Community Council getting involved by helping put the word out about our great neighborhood Summer event. Having the Council get behind me and help let people know about this event in our neighborhood puts a smile on my face.

Once again this year, we hope to continue to raise a fair amount of money for the American Cancer Society while also raising an awareness about the Wedgwood community not only from the residents within but also from the participants and spectators who come from around Seattle and beyond to see the Wedgwood Car show.

Thank you again and please seek myself and my wife out if any of you attend the show. We would love to meet you.

    Sincerely,

    Troy M. Anderson
