Seattle’s Police Department is divided into five precincts and in the summertime each one has a picnic. Business and residential communities can come out to meet their local police officers, enjoy free food, entertainment and raffle prizes, and get info on crime prevention. A special feature this year will be the introduction of new Police Chief Kathleen O’Toole.
University Heights at 5031 University Way NE is the site of this year's Police Picnic in the North Precinct on Sunday, August 24.
Note that this year the North Precinct Picnic will not be held at the precinct office. The picnic will be at University Heights Center (same location as the Saturday Farmers Market) at 5031 University Way NE. The Picnic in the Precinct is on Sunday, August 24 from 1 to 4 PM.
