Twenty Years: Anniversary Celebration for the Thornton Creek Alliance

The Thornton Creek Alliance is a volunteer organization which networks and coordinates with the various agencies who oversee the health of our urban watershed.  The Thornton Creek system of northeast Seattle has two main branches, north and south, which converge in Meadowbrook at about NE 107th Street next to 35th Ave NE.  Through their volunteer efforts, TCA has made a major difference in awareness of the creek system and efforts to improve its environment.

The Thornton Creek Alliance will celebrate its twentieth anniversary on Sunday, September 14, from 1 to 4 PM at Cromwell Park, 18030 Meridian Avenue North in Shoreline.  Come out to see displays on the history of the Thornton Creek Alliance, the current efforts and issues, enjoy live music and meet the active stewards of environmental restoration of the creek system.
