North Seattle including Wedgwood is part of the 46th District with representation in the state legislature in Olympia, WA. It is important that our representatives in the state government hear about issues of concern in our community. To that end, Sen. David Frockt, Rep. Gerry Pollet and Rep. Jessyn Farrell will hold a town hall event on Tuesday evening, January 6.
This town hall meeting will be held before the legislative session begins in Olympia, so that we will have a chance to talk about some of the things our legislators will work on in the coming session. The town hall is an opportunity for you to talk in-person with our representatives in the state legislature.
The issues of concern discussed at this meeting must be those which are dealt with on the state level, such as the state laws governing health care, higher education or trade and economic development.
You may phone or e-mail our 46th District legislators ahead of time to submit your questions, or meet them in person at the event.
The town hall will be at Nathan Hale High School Performing Arts Center, 10750 30th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125, on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015, from 6:30 to 8 PM (doors open at 6:15 PM.)
Keep in mind that 35th Ave NE is still closed at NE 107th Street/no through traffic in Meadowbrook. To reach Nathan Hale High School, travel west on NE 95th Street and turn right (north) on Ravenna Ave NE.
